Is Covid Vaccine Protection Durable?

People who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are still benefiting from protection against severe illness, but relying solely on weak and short-lived antibodies means that protection is suboptimal and only temporary. Re-exposure to the virus or a vaccine booster may initially sustain protection, but not without increasing immune selection pressure on viral pathogenicity.

This is the third of a ten-part video series summarizing the key messages of vaccinologist Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche's new book, 'The Inescapable Immune Escape Pandemic -- Nobody Can Conceal The Science That Nature Is Now Desperate to Unveil -- Societies in Highly Vaccinated Countries Will Be Caught By Surprise.'
